Love creation of an insane mind ???

What is luv?? this is one of the most frequent question i ask my self..What exactly does it signifies..Sometimes i feel it's nothing but a way to hide our insecurities,or a way to fulfill our needs..its nothing just. a creation of human mind, to feel secure..To believe that someone is there..But then sometime i feel that its a bond between people created by a sense of attachment between each other, but then i feel that infatuation is also a form of love, but there is no attachment attached to it..I really cant figure out what is it, does it exist in real or it's only a word made by us to hide our selfishness???
